Safety, Consent, & Healthy Relationships For People With Disabilities Webinar

This webinar is designed for mature audiences, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families, caregivers, and professionals who support them.

Together, we’ll talk openly and respectfully about healthy relationships, boundaries, safety, and consent. Using a sex-positive and inclusive approach and explore why this kind of education is so important-especially given the increased risks faced by people with I/DD.

Items to be discussed are: practical tools, helpful resources, and real-world tips for teaching key topics like public vs. private behaviors, social boundaries, and relationship skills. We’ll also touch on important legal concepts like capacity to consent, and offer strategies to support different learning styles. Whether you’re new to these conversations or looking to build your confidence, this session offers a supportive space to learn and grow.
